Wessex Blades Golok
In CS75 high carbon tool steel with partial bainite heat treat, this is a process I invest in, giving around 10% extra toughness, then I stress relive the spine to impart some "spring".This powerful workhorse delivers brutal chopping and accurate whittling in one Made in Britain package! The grind gives both great performance yet a resilient edge. That is just the steel, the scales can be micarta or stabilised hardwood which I do myself from seasoned hardwoods. A leather sheath, hand sewn can be enhanced with tooling to complete a distinctive system for camp tasks.
In 52100 this highly popular neck/belt knife allows precise tasks about camp, workshop or forest.
The revised 52100 version has a skeletonised handle for weight saving, please contact for options....a very capable yet affordable blade, that works so well in the various "bushcraft" grips. Option include kydex sheath, lanyard hole (on 52100), swedge , leather open/flaptop sheath, hardwood or composite scales.
