As the new GDPR regulations come into force on May 25th Wessex Blades(Scott Williams) and Wessex Blades Rendevous pages are notifying customers that:
A) All orders received containing Age Verifications, email addresses, home addresses and other personal details are not shared or screen shot for a third party. They are solely kept on file for the purpose of fulfilling the order and secured by a password protected device.Active serving personnel/Special Forces can let me know once age checked if they then wish the photos be removed, I then add a note to the order this has occurred should I get an audit. This email is also password protected.
B) Order payments received via PayPal include personal details such as home addresses and emails, names and contact details. These details are kept on file for the purpose of fulfilling payments and order requests. They are not shared or distributed to other people. PayPal is also password protected.
C) It is the requirement of the GDPR regulations to notify customers and potential customers that all such personal data is held in a secure place and to fulfil the contract set between Wessex Blades. Our professional accountant also needs the basic information for us to complete our tax returns.
Wessex Blades will only collect basic personal data about you - to include your name, age, email address and postal details.
This is because Wessex Blades (founded by Scott Williams) needs some personal data to proceed with your order. Wessex Blades will not use your information for any purpose other than discussing and completing your order with you.
Wessex Blades will need to keep copies of your order for a minimum of 6 years for HMRC accounting and tax purposes. Your information will never be sold or give to any third parties (apart from PayPal and courier services - this includes signed and tracking at Post Offices, should you wish your order to be sent to you and your postcode and building number appears on the Post Office tracking system.)
If you have any concerns or queries about how the business stores or handles data, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
